How to delete your Maed account and data

Important: This Action is Permanent

Before you proceed, please understand that deleting your account will:

  • Permanently delete all your nutrition data and meal logs
  • Remove your progress history and streaks
  • Cancel any active Pro subscription
  • Delete your profile information
  • This action cannot be undone

Method 1: Delete from the App

The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the Maed app:

  1. Open the Maed app on your device
  2. Tap the Settings icon on the bottom right corner
  3. Scroll down to the Account section
  4. Tap on "Delete Account"
  5. Read the warning message carefully
  6. Confirm by tapping "Delete" in the confirmation dialog
  7. Your account will be deleted immediately

What Happens Next?

Once you confirm deletion:

  • You'll be logged out immediately
  • All your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 24 hours
  • You'll receive a confirmation email (if you provided one)
  • You can create a new account anytime with the same email

Method 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you can't access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:

  1. Send an email to maedsupport@gmail.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the following information:
    • Your registered email address
    • Your account name (if you remember it)
    • Reason for deletion (optional)
  4. We'll process your request within 24-48 hours
  5. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account is deleted

Method 3: Contact via Telegram

You can also request account deletion through our Telegram support:

  1. Open Telegram and search for @maedsupport
  2. Send a message: "I want to delete my account"
  3. Provide your registered email address
  4. Our support team will verify your identity and process the deletion
  5. You'll receive confirmation within 24-48 hours

Want to Keep Your Data?

Before deleting your account, you can export your nutrition data:

  1. Go to Settings → Export Data (Pro feature)
  2. Download your data as a PDF report
  3. Save it to your device for future reference
